Videotec showcases ULISSE2 PTZ control unit at Intersec 2017
Italian video surveillance specialist Videotec is using Intersec 2017 to showcase it’s ULISSE2 PTZ camera control unit, which is said to be ideal for the surveillance of large, outdoor areas.
The unit allows the full control and management of all IP ONVIF-S third-party cameras, with direct access via a browser to the camera’s interface for setup and diagnostics, as a single IP address, the company says. It also promises 60 Mbit/s video streaming for 4K cameras.
It is also prearranged for the easy mounting of LED lights and features a sophisticated temperature control and demisting system, thus guaranteeing an ideal operating temperature range for the camera, the company claims. The complete installation is made easier by a single hex key.
Alessio Grotto, President of Videotec commented:
“We are delighted to showcase the new ULISSE2 at Intersec 2017. The new PTZ unit is the ideal solution for those who are scouring the market for an IP PTZ system that guarantees surveillance of large, outdoor areas with perfect accuracy in detecting targets, simple installation and use, unbeatable robustness and zero maintenance.”
