The new-series UltraView XP4 cameras from UTC are equipped with the Pixim Seawolf chipset and designed to excel in challenging light conditions.
This superior light handling ability makes the XP4 ideal for areas such as lobbies, retail environments, loading areas and car parks where conditions in the field of view can vary rapidly.
“The XP4 performs beautifully in bright-and-dark areas where standard cameras struggle and lose vital surveillance data,” said Lisa Dorian, UTC’s Operations Manager in the UK. “The XP4 produces clear, even images by determining how much light every pixel on the CMOS senor needs.”
A top-of-the-range WDR performer at up to 120dB, the XP4 is available in three versions (PAL and NTSC): as a standard box camera, an IP66-rated vandal dome with 2.8-10.5mm lens; and an IP66-rated vandal dome with 9-22mm lens.
It offers true day/night functionality (removable IR cut filter) and the box camera fits existing housings and lenses.
A full range of accessories is available, including wall mounts, flush mounts, pendant mounts and corner mounts, plus housings and lenses.
“The XP4 is a powerful new option for CCTV installers and users,” added Dorian. UTC offers a wide range of security and fire equipment and provides full training and support in the UK.
