Drone Park Indoor

After a successful launch of the drones area at Intersec 2017, the section will be further expanded. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to showcase their drones in the demonstration area in Hall 1.

Their global market is predicted to be more than doubled over the next decade, from the current figure of $5.2bn a year to $11.6bn by 2023 growth can also be expected in the Middle East.

Wearables in Safety

Over the coming years, the wearable technologies market is expected to grow at a cumulative CAGR of nearly 40%, producing a cumulative global market of nearly $8 billion. Wearable technology includes a host of technologies that are capable of being integrated into a variety of civilian systems and components in ways not previously possible. Following this Trend Intersec 2018 will feature its first pavilion for the commercial use of advanced textiles including head-up displays, body cameras, embedded sensors, exo-skeleton communications and more.

Bigger Show Space
13 Halls, 60,000 Sqm, 9% increase

With two decades the show is expanding to cover 13 halls with a remarkable growth of 9% increase in space. For your convenience, the Cyber Security product section has been moved to be at the centre of the exhibition floor and all Country Pavilions of the Commercial Security are compiled together in two halls to make it easier to navigate their exhibitors’ stands.

Longer Time
An extra hour for extra business opportunities

Following the 2017 exhibitors’ feedback and the increasing amount of visitor numbers, the opening hours of Intersec 2018 will be extended from 10AM to 7PM daily.

Figures of Success

Intersec 2017 continued its record setting trends by welcoming 1,304 exhibitors from 58 countries and 32,750 trade visitors from 129 countries for the 3-day exhibition from 22 – 24 January 2017 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Extensive conference programmes and exciting outdoor demonstrations were particular highlights as well as the introduction of the launch of Intersec Saudi Arabia 1st edition at the forums.

A newborn edition of Intersec in Jeddah

The inaugural edition of Intersec Saudi Arabia from 2 – 4 May 2017, concluded its debut with success, featuring 170 exhibitors and welcoming 6,131 trade buyers (pre-audit figures) at the Jeddah Centre for Forums & Events.

The visitor count was nearly double than what was anticipated by the organisers and the impressive opportunities are underlined by a full house of leading manufacturers and suppliers in the Red Sea port city, with the show’s 22 Official Launch Partners at the forefront global players.
