UK-based distributor of CCTV, access control, intrusion, fire and networking products, Oprema, has appointed Mark Elligott as its new Business Development Manager for the Midlands. In his new role, Elligott will form part of the Oprema national field sales team and be responsible for fostering client relationships throughout the Midlands region of the UK.
Elligott brings over 20 years’ business development and sales experience, having previously worked for ADI and Norbain. He has a wealth of security distribution experience which has been gained through undertaking all aspects of account management, most recently at ADI, where he spent more than nine years. In his spare time, Elligott volunteers as an instructor for a youth voluntary training service. For the past eight years he has been responsible for training 50 people on a weekly basis.
