Ministry of Interior of the UAE, the first Middle East agency to join BORDERPOL

BORDERPOL_Crest_2012_rev-cropWe are delighted to announce that The Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Immigration and Naturalisation of the United Arab Emirates is the latest agency to join BORDERPOL.

Thomas Tass, Executive Director of BORDERPOL said both our organisations share the aims of promoting international borders that enhance human mobility whilst ensuring traveller safety, security and facilitate smart and secure border systems. Therefore, as the first Middle East agency to join the organization we greatly appreciate their leadership and we look forward to working with them in future to develop a range of programmes both regionally and globally to promote transnational cooperation, open communications, constructive consultation and best practice within the field of integrated border management.
