Milestone emphasises MEA focus at Intersec 2017
Milestone Systems, the number one company in video management software (VMS), has said that its busy booth at Intersec 2017 indicates the Middle East and Africa’s (MEA) accelerating preference for a community-driven market approach with open platform technology.
At the show, which was held in Dubai in late January, the VMS specialist showcased the open platform community’s solution power and highlights included Christian Ringler’s introduction as new regional director. The many visitors had the chance to preview XProtect 2017 R1. This coming version of XProtect is released in February 2017.
A full range of camera partners and solution partners presented at the booth showcasing the continuing power of open platform technology and the expanding partner community: iCetana – Spectra Logic – Pivot3 – Prysm – Ipsotek – NetApp – Allied Telesis – Nedap – SID – Bosch. The presence of all these international and regional partners gave the many visitors at the an opportunity to see the solution power present in the Milestone community.
Milestone has grown rapidly in the region starting with three people in the Dubai office more than ten years ago. This number has since grown to more than 20 people in the MEA region with offices in Beirut, Jeddah and Johannesburg.
