DVTEL has launched the latest version of its Latitude open platform network video management system (NVMS), Latitude 6.3, which allows for streamlined provisioning of client software with automatic updates, includes enhanced GIS map integration and fault tolerant recording using storage on the edge.
Latitude 6.3 also introduces enhanced capabilities for DVTEL’s TruWitness, a transportable surveillance solution that enables users to use their smart phones as an IP video surveillance camera. With the new version of TruWitness, users can add remote camera feeds to the ControlCenter interface to track and communicate in real time with TruWitness-enabled devices. Users can upload video to ControlCenter while GIS maps deliver precise location and identification. Users can also make voice calls while streaming live video to a central command center.
Simplified pricing and expanded base-license functionality for Latitude 6.3 makes it easier and more cost effective than ever to use the powerful and versatile platform. A new price structure, lower pricing of other existing features, and base licenses that include even more functionality make ordering more cost efficient and streamlined.
“We are boosting the value of our latest Latitude NVMS Version 6.3 and simplifying implementation of the platform for a wide range of users,” said David Petrook, managing director of DVTEL in the UK. “Each new version of Latitude raises the technology stakes and increases the ROI potential for our customers’ real-world applications.”
From a small single server system to a distributed system managing thousands of cameras, Latitude NVMS Version 6.3 can efficiently support any system size or architecture, and installations can span multiple sites, cities and continents. Latitude’s advanced features and unparalleled flexibility enable users to manage IP video, fixed and TruWitness-enabled mobile cameras, audio and data to fulfil every security need.
Users and integrators can maximize the functionality of the Latitude NVMS platform by combining it with DVTEL’s Quasar IP cameras, reliable and cost-efficient DVTEL USS storage, and intelligent ioimage by DVTEL analytic devices. Latitude is based on an open architecture platform that supports cameras from Arecont, Axis, Bosch, Panasonic, Pelco and Sony IP camera lines. Benefits include easy-to-use, plug-and-play deployment, unmatched HD video quality in any condition, and cost-effective storage with the best ratio of pixels per bit in the industry.
