Dantech SecurePoE Benchmark Innovation Award Finalist
Benchmark magazine, the publication dedicated to driving innovation in the security sector, has announced that Dantech’s SecurePoE technology has been nominated and selected as a Finalist in the Infrastructure category of the Benchmark Innovation Awards 2016.
Judged by the Benchmark test team and industry professionals, the Awards criteria recognises products that enhance and advance the delivery of secure, flexible and beneficial solutions; rewarding innovative thinking in the delivery of benefits through those advanced security solutions.
Designed & manufactured in Great Britain specifically for security applications, unlike generic IT industry offerings, Dantech’s SecurePoE products feature a secure enclosure with all connections inside and unique anti-tamper contacts which can be used to increase a system’s physical security. Making installation and set-up easy, the PoE power supplies allow direct engineer access via a laptop, to any connected PoE devices, allowing fast remote set-up and maintenance, saving time and money.
The high-efficiency and high-reliability Dantech SecurePoE products accept a wide range of mains input voltages from 90-270V AC, are IEEE 802.3:2012 (802.3at, 802.3af) compliant, deliver a guaranteed 30W per port to all compatible load devices, and are available in Gigabit and 10/100 bandwidth models. Offered in various output configurations and enclosure designs, the SecurePoE power supplies include indoor and outdoor (IP66 rated) single, 2 and 4-port versions, and 4 and 8 port 19” rack-mount enclosure models.
Tim Scott, Director at Dantech Electronic Engineering enthused:
“This is really excellent news and very exciting for Dantech. It is wonderful to know that other people are interested in the logic of secure power implementation and the technical innovation we constantly strive to deliver.”
Developed utilising over 40 years electronics manufacturing experience, Dantech’s advanced SecurePoE technology provides ultra-robust PoE for any connected IP device, furnishing installers and end-users with cost and performance benefits for any IP surveillance, access control, intercom, VoIP, intruder alarm, fire or lighting system installation.
