Charter Security has been awarded a three-year contract to provide a range of security services at the UK head office of global tourism IT specialists Amadeus Services.
The London-based security firm –recently relocated from East London to a new headquarters in Canary Wharf – will provide delivery of security officers, access control, CCTV, concierge, facilities management support and remote monitoring under the terms of the deal.
Amadeus provides IT and technology solutions to the global tourism and travel industry with offices in more than 70 countries and employs over 10,000 people worldwide. Charter will provide overall security provision at its UK head office, based at Heathrow Airport.
Claire Lambert, Managing Director at Charter Security, told SecurityNewsDesk the deal adds to the diverse portfolio carried under the organisation’s umbrella and they’re “thrilled” to have won the opportunity.

Charter has a history of supplying a range of security services across London and the south-east of England.
Recent deals include providing security at various sites run by Mansell Construction Services, while Charter has delivered security at Kings Cross, Waterloo and Crystal Palace railway stations, the Eurotunnel project, the Cutty Sark and the Olympic Village’s Aquatics Centre.
