Digital camera specialist Basler is introducing two new IP dome camera models. The upcoming BIP2-D1920c-dn (Outdoor, AF) and BIP2-D1920c-dn (Indoor, AF) models provide auto focus functionality and Full HD resolution (1080p) at real-time video frame rates of up to 30 fps.
The integrated auto focus functionality makes dome camera installation even simpler; the lens can easily be focused through the camera’s web application.
Over and above their audio functionality, Basler’s IP dome cameras have a built-in microSDHC card slot for local storage of up to 32 GB of data. This functionality has been optimized so that live streams can be recorded to an SD card. In addition, it is possible to store single camera images in configurable time intervals on an SD card.
With its IP66-certified aluminum housing, and an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +50 °C (-40 °F to +122 °F), the vandal-resistant BIP2-D1920c-dn (Outdoor, AF) model allows video surveillance in outdoor applications. The BIP2-D1920c-dn (Indoor, AF) dome camera is equipped with a lightweight plastic housing and is perfectly suited for network video projects indoors.
“With the new auto focus functionality, manual focusing is a thing of the past,” states Björn Weber, Product Manager at Basler. “Our customers can continue to benefit from the enhanced ease-of-use of our IP dome cameras.”
