Outdoor-ready HDTV PTZ dome cameras, Thermal Network Camera, Fixed Dome Network Cameras will be demonstrated at Intersec

Axis Communications, the global market leader in the network video market, today announced its participation at Intersec 2011, the largest and most comprehensive exhibition and conference for security and safety in the Middle East. Held over 3 days in Dubai from January 16-18, 2011, the exhibition will be a perfect showcase for Axis Communications to showcase its latest range of digital surveillance solutions. This is in line with its objective of being the driving force of network video in the Middle East to facilitate the shift from analogue to digital video surveillance.

Visitors to the Axis stand (Hall 3, Booth 415 C) in Dubai World Trade Centre will have the opportunity to see a variety of product demonstrations, information and insight into the latest technologies in video surveillance ranging from thermal imaging monitoring, easy installation, live demonstrations as well as reliable and robust solutions for outdoor use.

In terms of its expanded presence at the event, Jonas Andersson, Director Business Development, Axis Communications and Chairman of Steering Committee, ONVIF, Sweden will be a keynote speaker. He will be addressing attendees with a presentation focusing on the business benefits and challenges in terms of Interoperability.  He will also review ONVIF’s     (Open Network Video Interface Forum) history and the progress that has been made to establish ONVIF as the leading global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security.

In addition, Axis will demonstrate the new AXIS P3346 camera which is the first fixed dome camera on the market with P-Iris, which ensures superb image quality.

With HDTV cameras gaining increased visibility, Axis will also demonstrate the AXIS Q6034 PTZ Dome Network Camera, which combines high-speed and robust pan/tilt capability with HDTV-quality video.

In addition, at Intersec, Axis will give visitors the chance to experience firsthand the latest Axis and partners products together by our partnership to deliver, flexible solutions for many applications and segments. Aimetis, Franz Video Equipment, Pivot3 and Proxim will be partnering at Axis’ booth at Intersec 2011.
